Joyce was much loved by her friends and family.
She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at quite a young age.
She knew what that would mean for her future as her own mother had suffered from the disease also.

Despite the pain she suffered over many years, Joyce very rarely complained about her pain and was always more concerned with the well being of others. 

We wanted those who cared for Joyce to be able to assist NRAS in their work supporting people with RA, and their carers also.
